About ICPA

The International Civil Police Authority, also known as ICPA, is an independent international nongovernmental organization and professional membership association dedicated to lawful cooperation, education, humanitarian initiatives, professional standards, anti-trafficking awareness, and public-safety collaboration.

ICPA serves law-enforcement professionals, security professionals, emergency responders, investigators, anti-trafficking advocates, diplomatic-security professionals, academics, and related public-safety stakeholders across the world.

Important Notice: ICPA is a nongovernmental membership association. Membership, badges, certificates, titles, or credentials do not grant police powers, arrest authority, diplomatic immunity, government employment, immigration authority, or sovereign law-enforcement jurisdiction.

Ethics, Credentials & Professional Standards

Code of Ethics

Members must act with integrity, obey applicable laws, respect human rights, protect confidential information, and avoid misrepresentation.

Credential Policy

ICPA badges, certificates, identification cards, and digital credentials identify membership only and must never be used to imply governmental authority.

Disciplinary Standards

Misuse of credentials, false claims of authority, unethical conduct, or unlawful activity may result in suspension, revocation, or expulsion.

Country Chapters & Representatives

ICPA may establish lawful country chapters, regional offices, representatives, committees, and working groups. Each chapter must comply with local law, ICPA governance standards, financial accountability rules, branding requirements, and ethical obligations.
